Ed Rhine, owner of Rhine & Daughters Landscaping, graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Forestry. In 1970, he used his passion for trees and his creative talent to open his own business, Rhine's Landscaping.

In 1972, Ed married Patty, and in 1977, their first daughter, Elizabeth, was born. Her sister Rachel followed in 1982. With two new partners, the Rhines decided to officially change the name of the business to Rhine & Daughters Landscaping. Today, Rhine & Daughters remains a family run business that prides itself on its personal, hands-on approach.
